Flossing
Flossing technique is a new therapeutic method that consists of applying different elastic bands with a combination of manual techniques.
Applying the tape creates compression, which lasts for a few minutes. During this period, the therapist applies various manual techniques depending on the indication, and active or passive movements are performed together with the patient. After a few minutes, the tape is removed and an increased range of motion and a decrease in pain are noticed. After mechanical compression, the blood flow strongly increases, and the absorption of accumulated metabolic products from the tissues. It acts immediately and accelerates tissue regeneration.
The application of flossing technique is very effective in various conditions such as:
* tendon sprains
* sprains
* islands
* tennis and golf elbow
* painful shoulder syndrome
* muscle ruptures
* knee injuries
* ligament injuries
* carpal tunnel…
