Kinesiotaping
Kinesiotaping is a physiotherapy technique that is based on the process of natural bodily self-healing, using an adhesive elastic band that is applied to the body so as to provide support to the muscles without restricting movement. The function of kinesiotaping is to support muscles, improve the flow of body fluids, reduce pain and stabilize joints. In addition to wide application in sports, this technique has also found its application in pediatrics and it is used to treat foot deformities in babies, kyphosis, scoliosis and chuckles. The use of kinesiotaping in combination with other physiotherapeutic techniques contributes to the success of treatment and rehabilitation.
